Rafael Archondo Quiroga & Isabel Siles Ormachea
Rafael Archondo (56) is a Bolivian journalist with permanent residence in Mexico City. He teaches in Ibero American University of Puebla since 2016 in subjects related to Latin American History and foreign relations. “On a Powder Keg” is his third academic book. He researched on communications processes, political parties, and electoral performances in Bolivia. Was permanent columnist in Bolivian newspapers for more than a decade and deputy permanent representative of Bolivia to the United Nations (2011-2012).
Isabel Siles (69) lives in Madrid, Spain. She is the youngest daughter of president Hernán Siles Zuazo. She described in the book the childhood and youth of his father, and the birth of his political convictions.

Here, Siles discusses U.S. technical assistance in Bolivia and claims to the assembly of nations the minimum right people should have: “the right to progress.”
