Annals issue of The Latin Americanist – Call for Submissions

Presenters at the March 2020 SECOLAS meeting in Austin, Texas are encouraged to submit their papers for possible publication in The Latin Americanist Annals issue. The Annals edition is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal issue published by SECOLAS, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Winthrop University, and the University of North Carolina Press.

The Latin Americanist Annals issue publishes scholarly articles from any academic discipline that include original research concerning Latin America. Manuscripts may be in English, Spanish, or Portuguese, and should not exceed 25 double-spaced pages, including notes, tables, and works cited. Authors should include a 150-200 word abstract with their manuscripts. 

Papers are chosen for their scholarship, general interest, readability, and interdisciplinary appeal to all Latin Americanists. A manuscript should be submitted electronically to The Latin Americanist at this location: https://latinamericanist.submittable.com/submit.

Manuscripts should be formatted in the style sheet used in the contributor’s discipline, such as University of Chicago, A Manual of Style, or the MLA Style Sheet.
