In conjunction with the North Carolina Conference on Latin American Studies (NC/CLAS), the Southeastern Council of Latin American Studies (SECOLAS) is pleased to announce a call for paper and panel abstract submissions for SECOLAS’s 69th Annual Meeting, to be held from Wednesday, 9 March thru Saturday, 12 March 2022.

SECOLAS invites faculty members, independent scholars, and students to submit panel and individual paper proposals for participation in the conference. The organization welcomes submissions on any aspect of Latin American and/or Caribbean Studies.

Panels and roundtables are particularly welcomed.

The meeting will take place at the Dunhill Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina, public health conditions permitting.

Its objectives are the promotion of interest in Latin America, scholarly research pertaining to Latin America in all fields, and the increase of friendly contacts among the peoples of the Americas.
